The Legacies of Enslavement Special Initiative invites proposals for blog posts exploring the historical and contemporary legacies and afterlives of enslavement as part of its Exploring Legacies of Enslavement research series.
Early Career Researchers at the University of Cambridge, including PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. We particularly welcome contributions from across all disciplines, including those beyond the Humanities and Social Sciences.
Blogs should be written for a general audience. Proposals may take the form of brief project synopses or short pieces linked to recent or forthcoming publications. Selected contributions will be developed into c.750-word blog posts (with images) for publication in Michaelmas Term. A small fee will be offered.
